Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Nonna Picks account and everything in it at any time. No retention period, no “are you sure” maze, no need to email anyone first.

If you still have the app or can sign in

This is the fastest route — it takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Settings (in the app, or on the web).
  2. Scroll to Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account is erased right away.

If you’ve already uninstalled, or can’t sign in

Email hello@nonnapicks.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request comes from that address and delete the account within 30 days, usually within a few business days. You’ll get a confirmation once it’s done.

If you can’t reach that mailbox any more, email us anyway from whatever address you have and tell us the old one — we’ll ask a couple of questions to confirm the account is yours before deleting anything.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is removed permanently. This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it afterwards:

  • Your profile, bio and every photo you uploaded
  • Your quiz answers and compatibility scores
  • Your matches, likes and passes
  • Your messages — including the copies in other people’s chats
  • Your event RSVPs and waitlist entries
  • Any reports you filed and anyone you blocked
  • Your account itself, including your login

Photos and voice notes are erased from our file storage as well as our database, so the image links stop working too.

What we keep, and why

Almost nothing. The two exceptions are both legal or statistical:

  • Payment records for any event ticket or paid feature you bought. These are held by our payment processor, Stripe, which is required to retain them for tax and accounting purposes. We can’t delete them and neither can you.
  • Aggregated, anonymous statistics — counts like “how many people attended this event.” These contain nothing that identifies you and cannot be traced back to you.

Want your data instead of deleting?

You can export everything we hold about you from Settings before you delete. Once the account is gone we can’t produce an export, so do this first if you want a copy.
